To commission a portrait can be one of the most exciting decisions of a lifetime. I will introduce you to the living            masters, and I will guide you through the commissioning process.

          STEP ONE:
We will discuss what kind of portrait would you prefer to commission. The price of a portrait is determined by the reputation of the artist, the complexity, and size of the painting.
To help determine your price, the following criteria will be considered:
1. Choose the 'length' of the portrait: head and shoulders, half length (always includes the hands), 3/4 length (about to the knees), or full length (includes feet).
2. How many figures will be in the painting?
3. What kind of background would you like?
4. Do you have a particular size of the portrait in mind?

          STEP TWO:
We will discuss your preference for Formal or Casual portrait, your price range, and also the type of painter you prefer (e.g. renowned, international, emerging)

          STEP THREE:
I will assist you in selecting the painterly style for such painting. The term ‘painterly’ may apply both to the approach to the technique of the artists, as we’ll as the look of the finished work.
You are welcome to explore some examples of paintings, their styles and compositions, and contact me if you are inspired by some of them.

For centuries, the portrait has been an enduring feature of our cultural heritage and a touchstone of artistic                    achievement. You can continue the legacy with an original work of art by one of today's living masters.
